At St Jude’s Catholic Primary School our curriculum provides opportunities for our children to ‘aspire to be more’ in an environment that is underpinned by our mission statement, “Together, We Learn, Love and Grow with Jesus.”

Regardless of starting points, we ensure all children have the opportunities to reach their full potential.

Reading is at the heart of our learning, it opens the door to the rest of the curriculum. The key driving force to our teaching is developing children’s vocabulary where opportunities are provided for speaking and listening to improve children’s oracy skills.

We recognise the need to nurture and provide for our families and through an open and caring environment we ensure they receive the support they need.

We provide enrichment opportunities to help raise aspirations and provide children with memorable experiences that increase their understanding of the world around them.

Our Growth Mind-set approach to learning promotes perseverance and shows our children that they all have the potential to achieve. When children leave St Jude’s we want them to have the confidence and ability to always ‘aspire to be more’.
